Subject: INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING CELEBRATIONS OF ‘EID MILAD UN NABI’ 2026

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state in addition to Guidelines issued vide this department’s letter of even number dated 16.08.2026 regarding Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (S.A.W.W) 2026, following instructions are hereby issued for strict compliance:

i. Adequate number of ‘Sabeels’ should be established on the routes of major processions.

ii. Proper branding of the ‘Sabeels’ should be ensured.

iii. Major buildings including Banks and Petrol Pumps should be illuminated with preference for green lighting.

iv. Milad Programs shall be organized in all major public & private schools on Tuesday 11th Rabi-ul-Awal 2026.

v. Sweets/‘Sheereni’ should be distributed to the inmates in Punjab Prisons.
