NOTIFICATION
No.SOR(LG)8-3/2025.- In exercise of the powers conferred under section 189 of the Punjab Local Government Act 2025 (LXXX of 2025), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to make the following amendment in the Punjab Local Government (Registration of Births and Deaths) Rules 2025, with immediate effect:
Punjab Birth Death Registration Rules 2026 – New Update
AMENDMENT
In the Punjab Local Government (Registration of Births and Deaths) Rules 2025, in rule 21, in sub-rule (1), in “Note”, for the words “one year”, the words “four years from commencement of the rules” shall be substituted.
